'Boutique-Style' Travel - Philippines

Roads2.Com
offers international 'boutique-style' travel tours known for the small
groups, carefully planned itineraries, and flexibility to explore on 'free-style
free-time'. Roads2Philippines.com is the website dedicated
to travel tours to the Philippines. For those who prefer to sometimes
travel independently, stay near the local activity, enjoy several days in a few
places, and are energetic enough for some walking each day, then
a Roads2.Com travel tour is for you.
The founders of Roads2.Com worked and traveled
throughout the world for over 30 years. And during that
time, they were involved with infrastructure projects in
many industries. Beyond their varied professional
experiences was the broad exposure, understanding and appreciation
of many cultures, each with its own unique contrasts and
beauty. The 'vision' of Roads2.Com is to share their
experiences and lifelong memories with a 'boutique-style' of
travel.
There are two scheduled
Roads2Philippines tours at this time. Both tours include the
urban sprawl of Manila,
Makati, Pasay and Quezon City with more than 10 million inhabitants,
and stark contradictions of modernity, shanties and
tradition. Tour 1 includes Cebu located in the Visayas region of
the country with Cebu City being the country's oldest city founded by the
Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Pegaspi in 1571. Tour 2 includes Boracay, the well-known island off the coast of Panay and has some of the
most beautiful beaches in the world.
Each tour
is a 'small group' of
only 8 tour travelers. Included is international 'airfare' with departure and
transit airport 'lounge privileges', domestic airfare, hotel accommodations with 'breakfast', ground transportation,
one 'hosted dinner' surrounded by 'Filipino
culture', and 'entrance
fees' to all scheduled tour sights. Assistance
in arranging Roads2.Com's daily 'free-style
free-time' to explore non-scheduled
tour sights is provided.
Each Roads2.Com
tour is managed by a local in-country
manager. All licensed, native speaking tour
guides are fluent in English.
Additionally, a Custom tour can be arranged for a
special family occasion or a group of friends.
About the Philippines - Land
of Warmth - Land of Happy People .....
Despite the typhoons, earthquakes, mudslides and floods, the
people of the Philippines always smile, laugh and are happy. Filipinos
love to joke and tease, and extend to everyone a special
hospitality.
The Philippines is a predominately English speaking
country coupled with their regional language of Tagalog. The ancestry of
the Philippines is Malay from the populations of Indonesia, Malaysia and
Borneo. Names are hispanic and their faith Roman Catholic in the north and
a mixture of Catholic and Muslim religions in the southern island grouping of
Mindanao. After 400 years of Spanish and American colonization, the
Philippines became a democracy in 1946. Ferdinand Marcos took control of
the country and ruled as a dictator from 1972 until 1986, when the bloodless
'People Power Revolution' restored the country to a democracy once
again.
The Philippines has three island groupings. Luzon is in the
northern part of the Philippines and offers Manila-Makati business centers,
historic Spanish-era churches and architecture, famous terraced rice paddies,
beautiful mountain ranges, and a uniqueness from other parts of the
Philippines. The central Visayas region of the country hosts the country's
most serene beaches, charming towns and villages, and music-loving
inhabitants. The Mindanao region in the southern part of the Philippines
has many minority tribes, a large population of Muslim followers, and stunning
jungles with beautiful flowers and fauna.
The outstanding beauty of the Philippines, the many
unique villages and traditions, the warm hospitality, music and gaiety of its
people are remembered by all that visit.
The Philippines is truly the Land of
Warmth, and the Land of Happy People.
